I had the pleasure of meeting Roy Conli and Glen Keane yesterday, at a master class they gave. Roy Conli is a producer at Disney, and Glean Keane is my favorite living animator at disney. They both make me want to be a better animator.
And Glean gave me a lot of confidence working as a 3d artist, which i have always considered a bit of a hack version of animation. He pretty much made me feel like it doesn't matter what you use to get an animation made as long as you never comprimise your goals because of your tools. He showed a lot of 3D animations he was handed and showed how he got the animators to modify what they handed him to become w
having a particularly good week so far, well day, that couldn't possibly belong to a bad week.
my little exhibition is going well, and im selling plenty of works. infact i have run out of prints and frames and am getting another bunch made up. still has about 4 weeks, then it goes to permiment collection at the store, so hopefully the good times will keep on rollin.

i started a new job, doing tv commercials. i am allready strugling with the set up and expectations and pay. but im giving it a go...actually im going to quit tomoro i think. just going to sleep on it.

we missed the hurricane here, but had bad flash floods a few days before. suzie's brother was almost caught in it driving home in rush-hour. cars were starting to fill with water & his was being pushed around by the force of the flood. he was able to turn around, but 4 people died... right in the city. scary...
